Carine Van Gerven, lead organiser of the festival “Lens op de Mens” in Pelt and past speaker at Viewfinders, has arranged for a guided tour for Viewfinders members.
Lens op de Mens is an open-air exhibition that runs every two years along the streets and squares of Overpelt Centre, combined with a number of smaller exhibitions held in galleries and public buildings, plus a programme of lectures and workshops.
The visit takes place on Saturday June 14th, with the guided tour starting at 11AM.
The guided visit will take 2 hours and will cover some highlights of the exhibition. After the tour, you may choose to stay longer and wander around the town center to see the rest of the exhibition at your own pace. Outdoor installations are accessible permanently.
Some members of the club are in fact participating with photos at the exhibition.
The cost of the guide will be covered by the club. There is a limit of 12 participants, therefore places will be attributed on a first-come-first-served basis.
Pelt is aprox 1h30 from Brussels by car – going by train is not practical. Parking is possible around the town.
If you are interested in attending, please use this form to sign up.
The form allows you to ask for a lift, or to offer one. A confirmation and full details will be sent to you at the email address you provide in due course.
As always, the visit is open to paid-up members of Viewfinders and their partner or a guest.
