I moved with my parents to Belgium more than 30 years ago.
My interest in photography has increased since I bought my first SLR camera. But it is only in the last few years that I have tried to improve my skills beyond the nice family and holiday shots. Being a member of Viewfinders inspires me in this regard and demonstrates how significant the gap can be between nice shots and meaningful photography.
My exhibition pictures were taken late one afternoon on the beach of one of my family’s favourite short trip destinations: the Dutch “Waddeneiland” Texel.
Unlike other popular beaches the Wadden beaches and dunes are very large and seldom crowded. The authorities are making sure that the islands preserve their natural beauty and treasures. |
