Richard Sylvester

I initially studied photography nearly forty years ago and learned to develop my own black and white photos at that time.
I have lived and worked in Belgium for some thirty-five years now. I took up photography again as a serious hobby just a year and a half ago and joined Viewfinders a year ago.
Digital photography combines together my love for both photography and computers. I enjoy travel photography, having visited many countries throughout the world over the years for both work and pleasure.
My main interests are however, in macro and close-up photography, especially gems and minerals. I love discovering colours and textures that are not always visible to the naked eye.
The photos presented are from two cities with a lot of charm and happy memories: Honfleur, France and Verona, Italy. They are both well worth a visit.
