| I started making portraits when I was studying law at Leiden University in the Netherlands in the 1970’s. Since that time I have a passion for portrait photography. I like to find a balance between making formal and informal portraits. From 2007 onwards I have also become increasingly interested in travel photography, which is a wonderful way to photograph people and places, and capture the moment around the world. My contributions to this exhibition are photographs taken in India and in New York, during the summer of 2009. My previous exhibitions were: Photos of India at Le IIIe Acte (Sablon), Brussels, October - December 2009 Portraits at Hotel Bommeljé, Domburg Zeeland, the Netherlands, summer 2007 Netherlands. |
