| I’ve only recently started taking photography seriously. I remember always wanting a real camera when I was younger, but never actually getting around to getting one. While I have had cameras in the past - compact and point-and-shoot cameras - I never felt as if I had a really good one. In Fall of 2009, however, I decided to commit to a DSLR and take my photography to the next level. I wanted something that gave me more control of the image than just simple composition. Shortly after getting my new camera, I found Viewfinders, which put me in contact with other likeminded people. I’m also active in the flickr community, sharing my pictures, enjoying the pictures of others, and participating in interesting discussions with other photographers. I felt especially proud when one of my pictures made it to the Explore list on flickr. |
