My activities as an amateur photographer are highly linked to my interest in travelling. For me, travelling abroad would not have the same appeal if I were not able to bring back a stash of images either for display on my website or to present to the photo club. As such, photography is for me an integral part of the whole travel experience. Indeed, my trusty backpack always accompanies me wherever I go, usually containing too much camera gear, I admit. But you never know what great shots you might miss otherwise!
My main photographic interests are landscapes and architecture, however most of the time I try to include some people in the scene, to give a bit more context. This is exemplified by my images in this exhibition.
As one of the few native Belgian members of photo club Viewfinders, I enjoy taking part in its meetings and activities, as it gives me the motivation to go out and take photos, so I can show them to my fellow members. Also, it keeps me in touch with the thriving expat community in Brussels!
More of my work can be seen on my website and for comments or inquiries please contact me via email.
