At our April 2004 Meeting Club members Graham Ireland, Pat Temmerman and Alun Foster (aided by other digitally aware folk) presented an Introduction to Digital Photography.

Starting with camera choice they also covered related equipment such as scanners and printers and also a basic overview of image manipulation software.

This was an excellent presentation and the aim was to show what is available in the market and the basic choices which need to be made for those considering a venture into digital.
